Co-Axial Escapement

The Co-Axial escapement functions with a system of three pallets that separate the locking function from the impulse, with the pushing, as opposed to the sliding friction of the lever escapement, resulting in greater mechanical efficiency with 3 years warranty.

Si14

Silicon is non-magnetic so the performance of the Si 14 balance-spring is not disturbed by exposure to magnetic objects. This physical property of silicon allows watches with the Si 14 balance-spring to deliver significantly better chronometric performance than balance-springs made of traditional materials.

MASTER CHRONOMETER

Master Chronometer, the finished watch, whose movement is a COSC chronometer, passes tests approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) that replicate real-life wearing conditions and demonstrate resistance to water and magnetic fields.

LiquidMetal®

Liquidmetal™ to its collection when it created a bezel which blends the novel zirconium-based alloy with ceramics - a technological world premiere. Liquid metal fuses at a temperature half that of conventional titanium alloys but when it cools, it is three times tougher than stainless steel. Omega began its journey in 1848 in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. Where the most prestigious watchmaking companies were born, a pocket watch workshop was founded by Louis Brandt. In less than half a century, Omega has become one of the largest watch producers in Switzerland. Omega was not just part of the exploration of the nooks of the cosmos, it made another truly fabulous feat by joining its name with Her Majesty's agent, James Bond. Like the universe and the moon, it also dominated the movie screen. Last but not least, it has become involved in various world organizations such as Orbis and GoodPlanet.
